In this presentation, Associate Professor Desborough will describe the way that people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) have been involved in OHIOH, highlighting a key piece of research that involved a series of novel deliberative workshops that were used to inform the development of a collaboration toolkit. This toolkit includes filmed conversations and desktop exercises, that can be used by people living with MS and researchers alike, to reflect on and understand the different ways that people living with MS can be involved in research and optimise the way they work together. This toolkit has been adapted for use in several other research projects focusing on different chronic health conditions.
