Professor Michael Roche is Clinical Chair in Mental Health Nursing at the University of Canberra and ACT Health, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Technology Sydney. He has wide experience in clinical, academic, information technology, and management roles. He has made contributed to a wide range of nursing, mental health, and health services research using novel approaches to integrate data from disparate sources to provide new insights. His work has focused on the nursing practice environment, staffing and skill mix, nurse retention, resilience, and wellbeing, occupational violence, and professional pathways for nurses in mental health.
